I was recommended looking online for a good ac company to use and found coastal comfort. After calling in and speaking with Carrie she had put in a call for my broken ac. I had the tech, Bill come out and he ended up recommended a backflush for me. I spoke with Adam in the office that same afternoon where he gave me a price that was better than 2 other companies quotes I got. After letting Adam know the urgency of getting my ac fixed because of me, my son and my 2 dogs, he offered me a sense of relief by getting me right back on the schedule with the same great tech Bill and the ac was up and running within 24 hours of making the initial call. This company really has employees that need to be valued, especially with all the unreliable and fishy companies that are out there to take advantage. Bill, Adam and Carrie are gems that need to be cherished. Professionalism has become more and more rare nowadays with all these companies out there just to make a quick buck. Thanks again crew!

I work in commercial construction & have extensive experience working with a wide variety of HVAC contractors for almost 10 years; however, when it comes to who I call to service my residence when there's a problem at home, there's only ONE (1) - Coastal Comfort!
First - the customer service is top notch - at the beginning, during, and post-call - the office answers immediately (whether they are open or not - you always get a person who answers!) ... the call is responded to & a tech dispatched promptly (always same day & typically within 1 hour or less). Carrie, or one of the many other dispatchers, will always take very good care of you!
After the issue has been quickly identified, you'll get immediate & very clear pricing outlined - perhaps you'll get my favorite tech, PHIL - along with a WEALTH of knowledge, he always comes with a smile & sunny disposition - even if your thermostat is reading over 80 degrees, he still somehow gets you to smile!!
Later, if you question the pricing at all, CALL THEM - Adam will be happy to patiently provide a detailed explanation of the charges so you understand you're getting exactly what you're paying for.
Post-call, all of your invoicing & paperwork is emailed to you so no physical paper to mess with or worry about!!
Yes, I've had to call on a weekend when they are closed - a very kind operator answers your call & dispatches Phil (and/or another on-call tech) - they will call you back & walk through everything over the phone! Even if you end up taking care of the issue on your own (because they pointed out that you might have just had a clogged drain line!!), the office STILL calls back on Monday AM to make sure you got your problem handled!!
Florida is H-O-T ... the criticality of having a reliable residential HVAC contractor cannot be overstated ... if you're already using Coastal Comfort, congratulations because I know you love them as much as I do! But if you're NOT using them yet ... What are you waiting for??? Call them ... you will be so happy that you did!!

Yesterday I called Coastal Comfort for a service call. I first talked to Adam the service manager and told him what was going on. He was so kind and told me the plan they would do to check it. He also kept me informed about the arrival date of my tech. Phil, the technician arrived right on time and went right to work with a diagnosis. He took care of the problems and was so kind, patient and thorough. He explained everything precisely. Great tech. Will definitely be using again.

I'm a very happy customer. I worked with Bill (amazing service tech) and Adam (amazing service manager) on an a/c issue I was having. They were so professional and helpful. The invoice was very reasonable and I would recommend this company to anybody with a/c issues. Ask for Bill next time you have an issue. He went out of his way to make sure the problem got solved. I can now enjoy cool air once again.

Jesus came to the house while we were away, as the electronic thermostats were showing that the systems might be clogged. And not, were they.
Here’s what I sent to Jesus after he had texted me updates and shared photos on the issues and work he was doing:
“ FYI. I’ve owned a few businesses and I can safely say you’re the kind of person/worker/employee/partner any smart individual would want to have onboard.

He reassured me that the issue was resolved and made sure I was taken care of promptly, despite the high volume of calls during this heat. I dealt specifically with Kyle at this company. I booked a maintenance visit to our home, and confirmed it, I even took their annual maintenance agreement (signed and returned to them). I was given an arrival time between 12-5p. After 3 phone calls to check on my status, I was told that they would definitely be here. At 5:30pm, mind you it was a Friday, I called again...spoke with I believe was an answering service who told me that they would have someone contact asap! It is now Sunday, and I have not heard a word, no one showed up, and no one called to cancel. Extremely unprofessional, and frankly rude as hell that they couldn't even call to reschedule! I do not care how busy they are. You call your clients, and let them know what is or has happened to my appointment. I would NOT recommend this company to my worse nightmare! Too many other companies out there looking for work! I won't even wish them luck in the future.

I had a fantastic experience with Coastal Comfort air conditioning this past week. In 2016 I purchased a Trane air handler and condenser from a competitor of Coastal Comfort. From the time of purchase, I had the AC air handler and condenser maintenance serviced every six months. In December 2023, I mentioned to the technician at the time of maintenance that the outside unit was getting loud and squeaking occasionally. The unit was still perfectly cooling the home and the levels were all good for the outside unit. The technician assured me that everything was OK. About a week ago the condenser became very loud and chirping. I called up My previous AC company and requested that the maintenance be moved up a month so that the noise could also be checked. They came out on Monday. The technician was not able to determine what was the cause of the noise. Since the readings were in normal range, I was told to monitor it. I called back the next day because I was concerned that there was an eminent problem and requested that a senior service tech come out. I was advised that I would need a new fan motor and new fan blades. The parts were still under the 10 year warranty, but the labor cost would be $925. The following day, the fan motor died and we had no AC. As a pet owner, my 85° and rising, inside home temperature was completely distressful. Mind you, I’ve had an eight year relationship with the previous company and them servicing my AC twice a year. I
couldn’t understand why an eight year old condenser would already need the fan motor and fan blade replaced. Why would it cost me $925 to change it? I decided to contact another local company Coastal Comfort, which I had zero previous relationship with. The receptionist was wonderful. I sent her over the estimate, serial number of my unit and videos of the unit making the noise. They quoted me $400 less than my previous company. Coastal Comfort knowing my distress without my a/c working ordered the parts that I needed. They were able to come out today, Friday morning, the Friday of Memorial Day weekend to double check that those were the parts that I needed. By 4:30 this afternoon, the new parts were installed, and my air was back to functioning. I cannot say enough good things about Coastal Comfort, and the way they treated a complete stranger of a client. Their professionalism, quick response, and an expeditious fashion resolving the problem has earned my business in the future. As one business owner to another, I highly recommend them.

After a large AC company came out and said our unit was shot, we looked to Coastal Comfort for a 2nd opinion. They showed up in less than 4 hours on a spur of the moment call. Coastal Comfort did not charge for an emergency and repaired the unit for less than $250. We signed up for the maintenance contract and are very happy. Stick with real Florida companies like Coastal Comfort and you will not get done wrong.
